How Much Do Solar Panels Cost for a Home in Ireland?

The cost of a home solar system depends on its size, whether you add a battery, and your roof, so there is no single published price. What is fixed is the support: an SEAI grant of up to €1,800 and 0% VAT both cut what you pay. For a figure built around your home, use the calculator.

Three things set your price:

System size. More panels for higher electricity use.
Battery or no battery. Storage adds cost, and lifts your savings.
Roof type and access. Slate, tile or flat, and how easy the roof is to work on.
